::: Masjid Ubudiah is Perak's royal mosque, and is located in the royal town of Kuala Kangsar, Malaysia. It is often regarded as Malaysia's most beautiful mosque. The Ubudiah Mosque has a reputation for being the most beautiful mosques in Malaysia. It has been a symbol of great pride and faith for all Muslims in Perak.
::: Construction for this magnificent structure began during the reign of Sultan Idris Murshidul Adzam Shah I, the 28th Sultan of Perak. Construction began in 1910 but it was abandoned during World War I. ::: The mosque's golden dome and minarets are testaments of the beauty of the Islamic architecture. And it has almost a same design of the Ipoh railway station and the Kuala Lumpur railway station. Its architecture is in the Moorish style. The mosque was officially opened by Sultan Jalil Karamatullah Shah in 1917. Besides that, the Perak royal mausoleum is located near the mosque. ::: Sources: Wikipedia [link] ~ ReActivate |
